Here's the list of our charitable contributions for 2007-8!
If you still wish to make a charitable donation, have a look at the contact details of various charitable organizations that rely on donations, whether clothing or electrical goods, to pass on to people less fortunate than ourselves.
Kindness: I wish everyone could have experienced the behind the scenes kindness various people and multiple organizations bestowed to make the "American Pancake Breakfast" a success to help children with special needs and their education.
As it stood, the 200+ people who attended reveled in this festive family fun day, dotted with colored balloon animals, ornamental face paintings, witty ventriloquist, upbeat guitar band music, generous hourly tombola and of course: a scrumptious pancake feast in an ambient chateau environment, the Miami University of Luxembourg.
Letter from Liz Scott, President of APPAAL
I would like to extend a warm thank you to all of you who took the time to clean out your closets and give me donations for Stemm Vun Der Strooss. We were actually able to make donations to several other groups as well. We made some donations to the Telstar Scouts for their second hand sale, to the British Guides in Foreign Countries for their Boot Sale and to the Red Cross. Thanks for your support.

Not only was a good time had by all at the 2007 American Stand, but the group raised the most funds of any of the Stands at the International Bazaar of Luxembourg. A reception was held on January 31, 2008, at the U.S. Embassy Residence to honor sponsors, donors, and volunteers of the American Stand.
Dear Melanie, dear all,
The only thing I can say is that somewhere in Burundi, a group of children will be happy thanks to these wonderful clothes that will keep so many warm in their bodies and in their heart!!! Merci Melanie, merci to all the crew of Land's End and to everybody who was involved in this wonderful action. I wish you all a "JOYEUX NOEL and BONNE ANNEE 2008.
