Useldange Church Fair
The 2007 fair saw the inaugural Dog Show attract huge interest with the crowds flocking to see the high number of quality entries. Fifteen different breeds and crosses were amongst the dogs shown. The three judges marked according to obedience, grooming and personality and they had a difficult time in deciding the winners: 3rd Runner-up was Ray, a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel; 2nd Runner-up was Tickle, a Maltese cross; 1st Runner-up was Bella, a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel; and the Top Dog prize went to Lola, a Bearded Collie
This year's fair will see the Dog Show having greater prominence in the entertainment schedule and it will take place earlier in the afternoon. Pure-breds, pedigrees and mongrels can all be entered. Shade and water will be provided to dogs (and their owners) before the Dog Show starts
Registrations to Geoff Thompson, tel 621-146169 or email geoff@station.lu. As numbers will be limited, entrants are advised to register early to be sure of your place! The entry fee of 5 euros can be paid on the day.
The 2007 Church Fair raised 13,000 euros for Charity.
