Congratulations to Eleanor Jacobs (and proud mother and AWCL member Amanda Norton) who was chosen as one of the participants of the Eleanor Roosevelt Leadership Workshop this summer. She was one of four FAWCO-related girls chosen this year. This is such an honor!

Eleanor is a 15-year-old boarding student at TASIS England in Thorpe, Surrey.  Previously, she attended the International School of Luxembourg for four years.  At TASIS, she is President of the freshman class, co-captain of the JV girls' basketball team, and on the 3-person Freshmen Academic Bowl team.  Her favorite subjects at school are history and French.  Last summer, she was selected to attend the Center for Talented Youth in Ireland, where she studied at Dublin City University.

 In her free time, Eleanor enjoys running, reading The New York Times online, and baking.
