A wonderful way to meet new people, learn new skills or polish old ones is to get involved. The AWCL offers many volunteer positions and you won't find a nicer group of women anywhere. You may be interested in some of the positions below. You don't need experience just a willingness to help. Please contact the clubhouse if you're interested or have questions. No website design experience needed, just attention to detail and familiarity with using the computer for email, word, files.
If you have ever wondered what it would be like to manage a publication, find out with The Grapevine. This monthly magazine offers so many possibilities. It's a great way to get your creative juices flowing and work with a wonderful team of people.
This job can be done from your home computer and doesn't involve soliciting. This position entails communicating with advertisers and the printer to make sure the correct ads are placed each month. The time commitment is around 2-3 hours per week.
Meet new people in a fun atmosphere as a clubhouse volunteer. In the meantime, stop by for a cup of coffee and meet our crew. Or better yet, sign up to work with our great volunteer crew.
