Help for Homeless

I received a call from Stemm vun der Strooss, which helps the homeless, addicts, social outcasts and unemployed members of our community. They said they would appreciate some financial help at this time of year when it is cold.  Apparently, they have a place that houses 16 people, which is not funded by the Luxembourg government.  Since we are fortunate to live in warm homes, we may want to consider a donation to them.  If you wish to donate, why not send a donation to our clubhouse, earmarking it "Stemm vun der Strooos" and we will make sure we send one large donation to them.  They also said they could use backpacks for the homeless to store the few items they have.  If you have some backpacks you can drop off at the clubhouse, we shall make sure they get them.  Thanks to those who can help with this. In the future, we may hold a canned food drive.
